THE SUP RACING TEAM IS READY TO HIT THE TRACK FOR PRE-SEASON TESTING IN PORTIMÃO

The SUP Racing Team is ready to fire up the engines again at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve for the first two days of pre-season testing in 2025.

On Wednesday, February 12, and Thursday, February 13, Alonso López and newcomer Celestino Vietti will be back on track to test new components of the Boscoscuro B25, the bike they will ride throughout the Moto2 World Championship season.

For López, this will be a valuable opportunity to fine-tune the bike’s setup and collect crucial data ahead of the season opener. For Vietti, on the other hand, this test will mark a key moment: his first experience aboard the Boscoscuro will allow him to get familiar with the bike and the team, while also providing initial technical feedback.

During the two days of testing in Portimão, the team will work intensively to analyze every detail of the technical package and evaluate solutions that could prove decisive for the season. With 22 races ahead, these tests represent a crucial step in preparing for the first round of the World Championship, scheduled for March 2 in Thailand.

The SUP Racing Team is eager to get back on track and determined to tackle this new season with ambition.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21:

“I can’t wait to get back on track and ride the Boscoscuro after a long break. During the winter, I trained hard to prepare myself as best as possible for the new season, which I will face with a different approach. I’m starting with a renewed mindset and a lot of determination to give my best in this 2025 season”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13:

“I’m really happy to get going again, especially after a difficult winter due to the injury in the last race, which forced me into a long break. I’ve recharged and I’m eager to get back on the bike. I’m curious to try the Boscoscuro because everything will be new for me. I’m excited to work with the team, and I hope that in these days, we can start on the right foot and build a solid foundation for the beginning of the Championship”.
