FOLLADORE SPEEDUP
P2 AND P3 FOR THE FOLLADORE SPEEDUP TEAM ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE FRENCH GP
At the French Grand Prix, the Team SpeedUp made its debut on the track with a new livery by Folladore, a company engaged in powder coating for over twenty years. López and Aldeguer shone during this first day in France, respectively clinching second and third place in the standings.
Rider number 21 showcased excellent feeling with his Boscoscuro, setting the fastest time of the session in the free practice with soft tires and establishing a new track record in 1’35.556, later surpassed by García in FP1. Despite a fall just a few laps before the end, Alonso managed to secure second place with a time of 1’35.549 (+0.076), set shortly before the slip.
Fermín positioned himself behind his teammate in the morning session, recording a time of 1’35.711 with a gap of just +0.155. In the afternoon, pilot number 54 maintained a high pace, concluding the day with third place in 1’35.765.
ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 2nd in 1’35.549
“Excellent feeling with the Boscoscuro during the FP, especially after making the change to the soft tyres. In FP1 I changed to the new ones and crashed without being able to take advantage of the last minutes available. However, we are very happy with the result and tomorrow we will proceed on this line of work”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 3rd in 1’35.765
“A very positive day! We collected a lot of data today that we need to work on a little more. Tomorrow we will focus above all on the lines and on maintaining a good pace that will allow us to fight in Q2″.
