LÓPEZ LEADS THE ARAGON GP FREE PRACTICE WITH A NEW TRACK RECORD. ALDEGUER FINISHES IN P4
After a year of absence, the Aragon Grand Prix returns to the calendar, and the Sync SpeedUp team wraps up the free practice sessions with highly promising results.Alonso López is the absolute protagonist, dominating both sessions, while Fermín Aldeguer secures an impressive fourth place.
Despite some grip issues due to the challenging track conditions, Alonso set the fastest time in the first session with a time of 1’51.957. The meticulous work done during the early August tests, combined with that in Austria, has further refined the number 21’s feeling with his Boscoscuro. Thanks to a constant pace and impeccable control, López set the track record in FP1, stopping the clock at 1’50.989.
Even Fermín had a positive start. Despite having some difficulty in maintaining a regular pace, the young rider from Murcia finished the first test in P6 with a time of 1’52.278. In the afternoon, Aldeguer showed significant improvement, lowering his time substantially and achieving fourth place with a 1’51.299, just +0.310 seconds behind his teammate.
ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 1st in 1’50.989
“I am completely satisfied with how I managed today’s free practice. We are combining the details of the test here with those of the weekend in Austria, and I have to say that I feel at the top of my game again on the bike. I am also working hard on the tires, technique and other aspects. It would be a lie to say that I don’t think I have a chance of taking my first pole of the season tomorrow”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 4th in 1’51.299
“Satisfied with today’s position, but there is a lot of room for improvement in the first and third sectors. The track has changed since the tests and the temperature is different, so we will have to work hard and study this track well to get the best result tomorrow”.
