LÓPEZ ON THE THIRD STEP OF THE PODIUM AT THE FRENCH GP. ALDEGUER SEVENTH AT THE FINISH LINE

At Le Mans, Alonso achieved his second podium of the season, closing the French Grand Prix with a third place. Fermín instead crosses the finish line in seventh place.

Despite a slower start than usual, the number 21 showed great determination by constantly advancing position after position, first overtaking Gonzalez and then attacking the leading group. Once the American rider had also passed, López quickly gained ground on Canet, taking second position before making a mistake in the final stages which forced him to give up his place to Ogura. However, Alonso deservedly took the third step of the podium, sealing his second podium of the season.

Less comfortable race for Fermín who had to recover positions starting from the twelfth spot on the grid. The young man from Murcia fought for seventh position for almost all the laps, which he then maintained until the finish line.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 3rd

“It was difficult to overtake Roberts but once I did it, I attacked Aron and stabilized in second position. The final mistake cost me a bit but we are satisfied with third place. See you in Barcelona”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 7th

“Today we definitely could have done more. I didn’t have less pace than the others but starting from twelfth position certainly didn’t help me in the comeback. However, we defended ourselves well and took home significant points for the Championship standings”.
