SOLID START FOR LÓPEZ, P2 IN THE FREE PRACTICES AT THE MISANO CIRCUIT, ALDEGUER P18
At the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli a new livery change for the SpeedUp Team which returns to wear the colors of + EGO, the prestigious brand of the Sifar Group for years alongside the Italian team, in the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix.
Alonso López closed the first day of free practices with the second-best time, while Fermín Aldeguer is eighteenth although a little gap from the first (+0.741).
Team 21 continues to convince. P12 at the end of FP1 in 1’37,400 with only one stop in the garage and without changing tires. In the afternoon, a very determined López finished the second free practice at the top in 1’36.597, demonstrating consistent and fast pace and ending the day in P2 of the provisional combined classification.
Positive start for Aldeguer who reached the tenth position in FP1 with a time of 1’37.321 (+0.748). The number 54 and his team on returning to the track for the second session encountered some problems with the set-up of the bike without being able to finish a good lap on the track also due to the traffic encountered. Fermín thus concluded the first day at the Misano World Circuit in p18 with a time of 1’37.314.

“After having suffered so much in the Austrian race, it reassures me to know that our level is the same as recently shown and that we are competitive not only in the flying lap but overall! I think it won’t be easy to go to Q2 tomorrow but we have all the potential to do it. This circuit is not that complicated and this means that we are all very close with the times, but today we have shown that we can fight”.
