LONG LAP FATALE PER ALDEGUER, MENTRE LÓPEZ CONCLUDE IL CATALAN GP IN SETTIMA POSIZIONE
La gara del Gran premio di Catalogna si è da poco conclusa con un po’ di amaro in bocca da entrambi i lati del box MB Conveyors SpeedUp. López, dopo una battaglia continua per il terzo posto, ha terminato in settima posizione, mentre Aldeguer ha visto sfumare la possibilità di vittoria a causa di una caduta.
Il numero 21, partito dalla settima posizione dopo la penalità inflitta a Gonzalez, si è subito inserito tra i primi quattro lottando giro dopo giro per la top3. Nel corso della gara, però, l’obiettivo del podio ha iniziato ad allontanarsi sempre di più portandolo a tagliare il traguardo in ottava posizione. Tuttavia, al termine della gara è stata comunicata la squalifica di Ramírez, che ha determinato così il settimo posto di Alonso che si porta a casa punti preziosi per la classifica piloti.
Gara molto più amara per Fermín che, dopo aver preso il comando del gruppo, ha ricevuto una penalità per track limits. Una volta assegnato il long lap, il numero 54 ha deciso di scontarlo immediatamente, ma sfortunatamente è caduto prima di poterlo completare ponendo fine alla sua corsa verso il podio.
ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 7°
“Sono contento con il risultato di oggi nonostante non ho centrato il podio. Abbiamo sofferto un po’ da metà gara in poi; un problema tecnico mi ha impedito di fare di più. Ora testa al Mugello!”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: DNF
“Non è andata come volevamo. Sono stato in testa al gruppo per più di metà gara e poi ho commesso l’errore ancor prima di completare il long lap penalty. Un peccato ma purtroppo le gare sono così, può capitare di tutto. La settimana prossima ci attende il GP di Italia e non vediamo l’ora di scendere in pista e dimostrare che siamo pronti”.

The Catalan Grand Prix race has just concluded with mixed emotions for the MB Conveyors SpeedUp team. López, after a continuous battle for third place, finished in seventh position, while Aldeguer saw his chance of victory slip away due to a crash.
The number 21, starting from seventh position after the penalty given to Gonzalez, immediately placed himself among the top four, fighting lap after lap for the top 3. However, as the race progressed, the goal of the podium became increasingly distant, leading him to cross the finish line in eighth position. However, at the end of the race, Ramírez’s disqualification was announced, resulting in Alonso’s seventh place, allowing him to take home valuable points for the riders’ standings.
The race was much more bitter for Fermín. After taking the lead, he received a penalty for track limits. Once assigned the long lap, the number 54 decided to serve it immediately, but unfortunately, he crashed before he could complete it, ending his run towards the podium.

“I am happy with today’s result, even though I didn’t make it to the podium. We struggled a bit from mid-race onwards; a technical issue prevented me from doing more. Now, focus on Mugello!”.
FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: DNF
“It didn’t go as we wanted. I led the group for more than half the race and then made a mistake even before completing the long lap penalty. It’s a shame, but unfortunately, that’s racing; anything can happen. Next week we have the Italian GP, and we can’t wait to get on track and show that we are ready”.
