TERZA E QUARTA FILA PER I PILOTI DEL BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP NELLE QUALIFICHE DEL SAN MARINO GP

Si è appena conclusa la seconda giornata del Gran Premio di San Marino, con Alonso Lόpez e Fermín Aldeguer pronti a scendere in pista domani partendo rispettivamente dalla terza e dalla quarta fila.

Alonso ha avuto un inizio di giornata complicato, faticando nelle prime fasi a trovare il ritmo giusto e riuscendo a segnare un solo tempo sotto l’1’35” (1’35.950), che gli è valso la ventesima posizione. Tuttavia, grazie all’intenso lavoro di squadra per risolvere alcuni problemi tecnici, López ha potuto affrontare la Q1 con maggiore fiducia. Qui ha segnato un ottimo 1’35.446, qualificandosi per la Q2 con buone aspettative. Nonostante qualche errore nella fase decisiva, il pilota numero 21 è riuscito a conquistare una preziosa terza fila con un crono di 1’35.650.

Nella FP2, Fermín ha migliorato il tempo del giorno precedente registrando un 1’35.518 che gli è valso la quinta posizione nella classifica combinata e l’accesso diretto alla Q2. Nella sessione di qualifiche, Aldeguer non è riuscito a esprimersi al meglio, concludendo con un tempo di 1’35.810 che lo ha posizionato nella decima casella della griglia di partenza.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 8° in 1’35.650

“Sono contento del lavoro fatto, ma so che potevo fare di meglio. Ho iniziato la giornata con qualche difficoltà, soprattutto nelle prime prove, dove non riuscivo a trovare il ritmo giusto. Per fortuna, con l’aiuto della squadra siamo riusciti a migliorare la moto, e in Q1 sono riuscito a fare un ottimo giro, che mi ha dato fiducia per la Q2. Purtroppo, nella Q2 ho commesso qualche errore di troppo e non sono riuscito a concretizzare come speravo. Anche se mi aspettavo di essere più avanti, partire dalla terza fila non è male, e domani sarà importante fare una buona partenza e mantenere il ritmo giusto”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 10° in 1’35.810

“Le sensazioni sono buone, ma c’è un po’ di frustrazione. Non ho potuto fare il secondo run con gomme nuove come avrei voluto. Ero veloce, ma ho commesso un errore, andando largo nell’ultimo giro disponibile, e non sono riuscito a chiudere come desideravo. La pole era fuori portata, ma avremmo potuto tranquillamente fare la prima fila. Sono contento del feeling con la moto, ma arrabbiato perché, come ad Aragón, domani partirò dalla quarta fila. La pista è cambiata, e non ho saputo gestire al meglio la guida nel T1 e nel T4. Ora stiamo analizzando gli errori per correggerli e prepararci per una buona gara. Per domani, Alonso ha un buon ritmo anche se non si è visto pienamente oggi, e sarà una lotta dura con piloti come Canet, Vietti e Arbolino. Penso che saremo in quattro o cinque a giocarcela per il podio, e mi considero tra questi. Anche all’ultima gara, partendo undicesimo, sono riuscito a risalire fino al terzo posto rapidamente. Credo che possiamo fare lo stesso anche domani”.

THIRD AND FOURTH ROW FOR BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP RIDERS IN THE SAN MARINO GP QUALIFYING

The second day of the San Marino Grand Prix has just concluded, with Alonso López and Fermín Aldeguer set to line up on the grid tomorrow starting from the third and fourth rows, respectively.

Alonso had a challenging start to the day, struggling in the early stages to find the right pace and managing to record a lap time under 1’35” (1’35.950)y, which placed him in twentieth position. However, thanks to the intense teamwork to resolve some technical issues, López was able to approach Q1 with greater confidence. He posted an excellent 1’35.446, securing his place in Q2 with good expectations. Despite a few errors in the decisive phase, the rider number 21 managed to claim a valuable third-row start with a time of 1’35.650 and is ready to give his all in tomorrow’s race.

In FP2, Fermín improved on his previous day’s time thanks to a quick tire change, recording a lap of 1’35.518, which earned him fifth place in the combined standings and direct access to Q2. However, in the qualifying session, Aldeguer was unable to perform at his best, finishing with a time of 1’35.810, placing him in the tenth position on the starting grid.

“I’m happy with the work done, but I know I could have done better. I started the day with some difficulty, especially in the first sessions, where I couldn’t find the right pace. Luckily, with the help of the team we were able to improve the bike, and in Q1 I was able to do a great lap, which gave me confidence for Q2. Unfortunately, in Q2 I made too many mistakes and I wasn’t able to capitalize as I had hoped. Even though I expected to be further ahead, starting from the third row isn’t bad, and tomorrow it will be important to get a good start and maintain the right pace”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 10th in 1’35.810

“The feeling is good, but there is a bit of frustration. I couldn’t do the second run with new tyres as I would have liked. I was fast, but I made a mistake, going wide on the last available lap, and I wasn’t able to finish as I wanted. The pole position was out of reach, but we could have easily made the front row. I’m happy with the feeling with the bike, but angry because, like in Aragón, I will start from the fourth row tomorrow. The track has changed, and I wasn’t able to manage my riding in T1 and T4. Now we are analysing the mistakes to correct them and prepare for a good race. For tomorrow, Alonso has a good pace even if it wasn’t fully seen today, and it will be a tough fight with riders like Canet, Vietti and Arbolino. I think there will be four or five of us fighting for the podium, and I consider myself among them. Even in the last race, starting eleventh, I managed to climb up to third place quickly. I think we can do the same tomorrow”.
