I PILOTI DEL BETA TOOLS SPEEDRS TEAM ACCEDONO DIRETTAMENTE IN Q2 NELLA PRIMA GIORNATA DEL GP DI SPAGNA
Il primo round europeo della stagione segna un’importante novità per la squadra, che si presenta al via con un nuovo nome: SpeedRS Team, accompagnato dalla livrea firmata Beta Tools.
Alonso López ha mostrato un ottimo feeling con la Boscoscuro fin dalle prime battute, chiudendo la prima sessione con il nono tempo in 1’40.734. Nel pomeriggio, nonostante condizioni meno favorevoli per abbassare i tempi, il numero 21 ha chiuso con un solido 1’40.912, che gli è valso l’undicesimo posto.
Progressi evidenti anche per Celestino Vietti. Dopo una partenza più prudente nelle FP1, conclusa in P22 con un tempo di 1’41.469, il pilota italiano ha reagito con determinazione durante la Practice del pomeriggio. Grazie al lavoro del team sulla messa a punto, Vietti ha migliorato sensibilmente il proprio riferimento fermando il cronometro in 1’40.879, tempo che gli ha garantito la decima posizione.
Una prima giornata solida e promettente per il Beta Tools SpeedRS Team, che si prepara ora alle qualifiche di domani con entrambi i piloti direttamente in Q2.
ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 11° in 1’40.912
“Nel pomeriggio le condizioni erano un po’ più complicate rispetto alla mattina, ma siamo comunque riusciti a restare nei primi 14 e a conquistare l’accesso diretto alla Q2. Domani cercheremo di fare un ulteriore passo avanti per avvicinarci ancora di più ai primi. Mi piace molto questo circuito, l’atmosfera è speciale e so di poter fare bene. Vedremo cosa ci riserverà la giornata di domani”.
CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 10° in 1’40.879
“Una prima giornata non semplicissima, ma allo stesso tempo non siamo stati lenti. Ci manca ancora qualcosa rispetto ai più veloci, soprattutto nel T3 e nel T4. Stiamo analizzando la direzione da seguire e individuando i punti su cui dobbiamo lavorare. Oggi ci concentreremo sull’analisi dei dati per arrivare preparati a domani, con maggiore consapevolezza. Dobbiamo trovare il giusto compromesso per essere più efficaci in ogni settore”.

The first European round of the season marks an important change for the team, which lines up under a new name: SpeedRS Team, with the livery signed by Beta Tools.
Alonso López showed great feeling with the Boscoscuro right from the start, finishing the first session in ninth place with a time of 1’40.734. In the afternoon, despite less favorable conditions for improving lap times, number 21 clocked a solid 1’40.912, which earned him 11th place.
There were also clear signs of progress for Celestino Vietti. After a more cautious start in FP1, where he finished P22 with a time of 1’41.469, the Italian rider responded with determination during the afternoon Practice. Thanks to the team’s work on the bike setup, Vietti significantly improved his pace, stopping the clock at 1’40.879, a time that secured him 10th position.
A solid and promising first day for the Beta Tools SpeedRS Team, now heading into tomorrow’s qualifying with both riders directly into Q2.

“In the afternoon the conditions were a bit more difficult than in the morning, but we still managed to stay in the top 14 and earn direct access to Q2. Tomorrow we’ll try to take another step forward to get even closer to the front. I really like this track — the atmosphere is special and I know I can do well. We’ll see what tomorrow has in store for us”.

“It wasn’t the easiest first day, but at the same time, we weren’t slow. We’re still missing something compared to the front runners, especially in sectors 3 and 4. We’re working on understanding the right direction to take and identifying the areas we need to improve. Today, we’ll take a close look at the data to be better prepared and more confident for tomorrow. We need to find the right compromise to be more effective in every sector”.
