PRIMO PODIO STAGIONALE PER LÓPEZ AL GP DELLE AMERICHE, VIETTI CADE A DUE GIRI DALLA FINE

Il Team HDR Heidrun lascia il Gran Premio delle Americhe con sentimenti contrastanti: da un lato, la gioia e la soddisfazione per il primo podio stagionale conquistato da Alonso López; dall’altro, l’amarezza per l’uscita di scena di Celestino Vietti a soli due giri dalla fine, dopo una grande rimonta.

La gara, dichiarata bagnata fin dall’inizio, ha richiesto un rapido adattamento alle difficili condizioni della pista, con un cambio gomme tempestivo e l’adeguamento dell’assetto. Alonso ha impressionato con una partenza brillante, conquistando rapidamente il secondo posto e mantenendo un ottimo ritmo nonostante la pioggia. Lopez ha dovuto poi cedere il passo ad Arbolino, mantenendo però la concentrazione fino alla bandiera a scacchi e conquistando un prezioso terzo posto. Un risultato importante che segna il primo podio della stagione per il pilota spagnolo e il secondo per il Team HDR Heidrun.

Purtroppo, la gara di Celestino Vietti ha avuto una fine ben diversa. Dopo una partenza grintosa che lo ha visto nella top 10, il pilota italiano ha trovato un ritmo straordinario, recuperando posizioni fino a portarsi alle spalle del compagno di squadra. Tuttavia, a soli due giri dalla fine, una doppia scivolata ha compromesso la sua gara chiudendo il GP delle Americhe in 20esima posizione.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 3° 

“Quando ho visto che pioveva ero contento perchè, come dimostrato anche venerdì, avevamo un buon ritmo sul bagnato. In queste condizioni era facile commettere errori, invece abbiamo portato a casa un ottimo terzo posto. Ora dobbiamo lavorare per essere competitivi anche sull’asciutto. Adesso arrivano piste che mi piacciono e in cui possiamo fare molto bene. Questa gara la dedico al mio meccanico Floppy che sfortunatamente si è fatto male all’inizio della stagione e ha saltato queste prime gare”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 20° 

“Mi dispiace molto e voglio chiedere scusa alla squdra perche ho fatto une errore veramente stupido. Dopo questo errore sono riuscito anche a ripartire ma sono sfortunatamente ricaduto. Avevo un buon feeling con la moto e la squadra aveva fatto un ottimo lavoro sulla Boscoscuro in poco tempo. Poteva essere una buona domenica e invece non è andata così. Spero che mi serva da lezione. Grazie a tutti per il lavoro svolto e ci vediamo in Qatar!”.

FIRST PODIUM OF THE SEASON FOR LÓPEZ AT THE AMERICAS GP, VIETTI CRASHES TWO LAPS FROM THE END

The HDR Heidrun Team leaves the Americas Grand Prix with mixed feelings: on one hand, joy and satisfaction for the first podium of the season achieved by Alonso López; on the other hand, disappointment for Celestino Vietti’s exit just two laps from the end, after a remarkable comeback.

The race, declared wet from the start, required quick adaptation to the challenging track conditions, with a timely tire change and setup adjustments. Alonso impressed with a brilliant start, swiftly climbing to second place and maintaining an excellent pace despite the rain. López then had to give way to Arbolino but remained focused until the checkered flag, securing a valuable third place. An important result that marks the first podium of the season for the Spanish rider and the second for Team HDR Heidrun.

Unfortunately, Celestino Vietti’s race ended quite differently. After a spirited start that saw him break into the top 10, the Italian rider found an extraordinary rhythm, gaining positions until he was right behind his teammate. However, just two laps from the finish, a slide compromised his race, and despite his attempt to get back on track, a second crash at Turn 13 definitively ended his quest for the podium.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 3rd

“When I saw it was raining I was happy because, as demonstrated on Friday, we had a good pace in the wet. In these conditions it was easy to make mistakes, instead we brought home an excellent third place. Now we have to work to be competitive in the dry too. Now there are tracks that I like and where we can do very well. I dedicate this race to my mechanic Floppy who unfortunately got hurt at the beginning of the season and missed these first races”.

CELESTINO VIETTI #13: 20th

“I’m really sorry and I want to apologize to the team because I made a really stupid mistake. After this mistake I even managed to restart but unfortunately I relapsed. I had a good feeling with the bike and the team had done a great job on the Boscoscuro in a short time. It could have been a good Sunday but instead it didn’t go that way. I hope it serves as a lesson. Thanks to everyone for the work done and see you in Qatar!”.
