GARA DIFFICILE PER IL TEAM CAG SPEEDUP ALL’ AUTODROMO INTERNACIONAL DO ALGARVE

La gara del Gran Premio del Portogallo si è rivelata più difficile del previsto per il Team CAG SpeedUp sebbene il weekend fosse iniziato bene per i due portacolori che durante le prime due di libere avevano dimostrato le loro potenzialità e abilità sul circuito portoghese.

In seguito alle qualifiche di ieri la squadra ha lavorato molto per migliorare i feeling sulle loro Boscoscuro, ma la fortuna non è stata dalla loro parte durante la gara di oggi.

Buona la partenza di Aldeguer che dalla sedicesima posizione è riuscito a guadagnare tre posizioni fino a chiudere il primo giro in p12. La gara si è poi rivelata più in salita del previsto e Fermin è stato bravo a mantenere un ritmo costante fino alla fine arrivando tredicesimo al traguardo e ottenendo così i primi punti del 2023.

Si è invece conclusa con anticipo la gara del numero 21 del Team CAG SpeedUp. Alonso, che partiva dalla quinta fila, è riuscito ad avanzare in p11 dopo la partenza. Nel giro seguente, a causa di un contatto con un altro pilota, la direzione gara ha imposto a Lopez un long lap e dopo averlo eseguito si è ritrovato in p18. Alonso, senza mollare, ha poi dimostrato di avere buon ritmo e determinazione ma a cinque giri dalla fine, quand’era in p14, ha perso il controllo della sua Boscoscuro mettendo fine alla sua gara.

LOPEZ #21: DNF

“La verità è che non è stato l’inizio stagione che mi aspettavo. Durante la gara di oggi ho avuto un po’ di sfortuna ma credo che ogni errore sia un insegnamento. Restiamo molto competitivi e non vedo l’ora di riscattarmi durante la prossima gara.”

ALDEGUER #54: 13° in 1’43.046

“É stata una gara difficile. La verità è che ci aspettavamo un risultato diverso dopo aver fatto pratica nella pista la scorsa settimana per i test. Continuo ugualmente a pensare positivo e a lavorare in vista della gara della prossima settimana!”.

DIFFICULT RACE FOR THE CAG SPEEDUP TEAM AT THE AUTODROMO INTERNACIONAL DO ALGARVE 

The Portuguese Grand Prix turned out to be more difficult than expected for the CAG SpeedUp Team although the weekend started well for the two riders who showed their potential and skills on the Portuguese circuit during the first two free sessions.

Following yesterday’s qualifying the team worked hard to improve the feeling on their Boscoscuro’s, but luck was not on their side during today’s race.

Aldeguer made a good start and from sixteenth position he managed to gain three positions until he closed the first lap in p12. The race then turned out to be more tough than expected and Fermin was good at maintaining a constant pace until the end, arriving thirteenth at the finish line and thus obtaining his first points of 2023.

The race of CAG SpeedUp number 21 rider ended early. Alonso, who started from the fifth row, managed to move up to p11 after the start. On the following lap, due to a contact with another rider, the race direction imposed a long lap on Lopez and after completing it he found himself in p18. Alonso, without giving up, then showed that he had good pace and determination but with five laps to go, when he was in p14, he lost control of his Boscoscuro bike, ending his race.

LOPEZ #21: DNF

“The truth is that it wasn’t the start of the season I expected. During today’s race I had some bad luck but I think every mistake is a lesson. We remain very competitive and I can’t wait to redeem myself during the next race.”
