P14 E P15 PER IL BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP NELLE LIBERE DEL GRAN PREMIO DEL GIAPPONE
Al Motegi Mobility Circuit, il Team SpeedUp è tornato ad indossare i colori di Beta Tools, che resterà al fianco del team come main sponsor per i restanti appuntamenti oltre oceano.
López ed Aldeguer hanno concluso la prima giornata giapponese posizionandosi in P14 e P15 della provvisoria classifica combinata.
Inizio in salita per il numero 21 che sfortunatamente non è riuscito a trovare da subito il giusto feeling scivolando tra le prime venti posizioni. Nel secondo run dopo lo stop al box, al rientro in pista Alonso è riuscito a migliorare il suo tempo chiudendo le FP1 in P15 (1’51.619). Nelle prove del pomeriggio la squadra 21 ha continuato il lavoro sulla messa a punto della Boscoscuro riuscendo ad accorciare il gap dai primi (P12) ma non abbastanza da raggiungere le posizioni sperate. Alonso chiude la prima giornata del Gran Premio del Giappone con il quattordicesimo tempo della provvisoria classifica combinata.
Buon inizio per Aldeguer che ha conquistato a fine FP1 l’ottavo tempo in 1’51.295, a +0.818 dal leader. Durante la seconda di libere, il numero 54 del Beta Tools SpeedUp non è riuscito a trovare il giusto ritmo perdendo così la buona posizione del mattino e terminando le sessioni in P15, posizionandosi alle spalle del suo compagno di box.

“Velocità. È questo che oggi abbiamo cercato di ottenere in pista. Con la gomma usata il ritmo e la rapidità non mi mancano sfortunatamente non riesco a sfruttare al meglio quella nuova. Continuiamo a elaborare nuove soluzioni e a studiare i dati raccolti per fare sempre meglio”.
P14 AND P15 FOR BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP IN FREE PRACTICE OF THE JAPAN GRAND PRIX
At the Motegi Mobility Circuit, Team SpeedUp returned to wear the colors of Beta Tools, which will remain alongside the team as main sponsor for the remaining overseas events.
López and Aldeguer concluded the first Japanese day positioned in P14 and P15 of the provisional combined standings.
It was an uphill start for the number 21 who unfortunately was unable to find the right feeling straight away, slipping into the top twenty positions. In the second run after the pit stop, upon returning to the track Alonso managed to improve his time, finishing FP1 in P15 (1’51.619). In the afternoon session, team 21 continued work on setting up the Boscoscuro, managing to shorten the gap from the leaders (P12) but not enough to reach the hoped-for positions. Alonso closed the first day of the Japanese Grand Prix with the fourteenth fastest time in the provisional combined practice times.
Good start for Aldeguer who achieved the eighth fastest time at the end of FP1 in 1’51.295, +0.818 from the leader. During the second free practice, the number 54 of Beta Tools SpeedUp was unable to find the right rhythm, thus losing his good position in the morning and ending the sessions in P15, positioning himself behind his box mate.
