AL BUDDH INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT IL GT TREVISAN SPEEDUP CONQUISTA LA SECONDA E LA SETTIMA FILA DI PARTENZA

Per i portacolori del GT Trevisan SpeedUp si è appena svolta la seconda giornata del Gran Premio dell’India per determinare la loro posizione di partenza per la gara di domani.

Domani López e Aldeguer partiranno rispettivamente dalla seconda e dalla settima fila della griglia pronti ad affrontare la loro prima gara al Buddh International Circuit.

Alonso ha da poco concluso una giornata di ottimi risultati. Dopo il quinto tempo nelle FP3 con 1’54.124, il numero 21 è entrato di diritto nella Q2 del pomeriggio dove non ha tardato a mettere a segno il lavoro svolto ieri. La qualifica, posticipata di quasi un’ora a causa delle condizioni metereologiche, ha visto López conquistarsi la sesta posizione (2’02.864) a pochi giri dalla fine.  Alonso si assicuranda così la partenza dalla seconda fila per la gara di domani.

Per Aldeguer non è stata una giornata altrettanto positiva. Sfortunatamente nella terza sessione di libere il pilota murciano non è riuscito a trovare la formula giusta che gli permettesse di concludere la prova fiducioso. P26 quindi con il crono di 1’52.712. Neanche in Q1 però è riuscito a trovare la giusta chiave finendo in P7. Esclusa ogni possibilità di accedere in Q2, Fermín ha chiuso la seconda giornata indiana su pista bagnata in P21 con il crono di 2’03.501 e inizierà la gara dunque dalla settima fila della griglia di partenza.

LÓPEZ #21: 6th in 2’02.864

“Sono soddisfatto di com’è andato oggi perché rispetto a ieri abbiamo fatto un grande salto di qualità. Le mie sensazioni in sella alla Boscoscuro sono totalmente migliorate e infatti durante le FP3 abbiamo dimostrato di avere un ottimo ritmo anche se, in Q2, è stato più complicato a causa delle condizioni della pista. Abbiamo tutte le carte in regola per fare un’ottima gara domani”.

ALDEGUER #54: 21st in 2’03.501

“Non sono contento del risultato fatto e tanto meno delle sensazioni avute oggi. Probabilmente dobbiamo ancora trovare la chiave giusta per affrontare questo circuito. Dobbiamo continuare a lavorare per tornare a percorrere la strada che avevamo iniziato qualche gara fa. Domani daremo comunque il massimo per salire di posizione”.

The second day of the Indian Grand Prix has just taken place for the GT Trevisan SpeedUp riders to determine their starting position for tomorrow’s race.

Tomorrow, López and Aldeguer will start respectively from the second and seventh row of the grid ready to face their first race at the Buddh International Circuit.

Alonso recently concluded a day of excellent results. After the fifth time in FP3 with 1’54.124, the number 21 entered right into Q2 in the afternoon where he didn’t take long to complete the work done yesterday. Qualifying, postponed by almost an hour due to weather conditions, saw López take sixth position (2’02.864) with a few laps to go. Alonso thus ensures the start from the second row for tomorrow’s race.

For Aldeguer it wasn’t an equally positive day. Unfortunately, in the third free practice session the rider from Murcia was unable to find the right formula that would allow him to finish the test confident. P26 therefore with a time of 1’52.712. However, not even in Q1 was he able to find the right key, finishing in P7. Having ruled out any possibility of getting into Q2, Fermín closed the second Indian day on a wet track in P21 with a time of 2’03.501 and will therefore start the race from the seventh row of the starting grid.

“I am satisfied with how today went because compared to yesterday we made a big leap in quality. My feelings on the Boscoscuro have totally improved and in fact during FP3 we demonstrated that we have an excellent pace even if, in Q2, it was more complicated due to the track conditions. We have all it takes to have an excellent race tomorrow”.

ALDEGUER #54: 21° in 2’03.501

“I’m not happy with the result and much less with the sensations I had today. We probably still have to find the right key to tackle this circuit. We must continue to work to return to the path we started a few races ago. Tomorrow we will give our best to move up in position”.
