GARA: LÓPEZ E BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP SUL PODIO DEL GRAN PREMIO DEL GIAPPONE

Beta Tools SpeedUp ancora una volta sul podio e ancora López. Aldeguer cade alla quinta curva a pochi giri dall’inizio della gara mentre lotta in seconda posizione.

Dalla dodicesima posizione in griglia al terzo gradino del podio di Motegi sfiorando la seconda vittoria; è così che il numero 21 saluta il Giappone dopo un’eccellente gara in cui ha fatto divertire tutti. Anche questa volta, López si è rivelato il miglior rookie Moto2 2022 con un weekend perfetto in cui ha dimostrato tanto: dall’ottima partenza, ai sei giri in testa e alla tanta determinazione nel mantenere i nervi saldi fino al traguardo con Dixon alle spalle prendendosi il terzo podio stagionale.

La lotta per il podio di Aldeguer è finita troppo presto lasciando l’amaro in bocca a pilota e team che avevano dimostrato di avere tutte le carte in regola per concludere un’ottima gara. Buona la partenza del numero 54 che è riuscito a mantenere la seconda posizione e buoni i primi giri in cui è girava con il ritmo dettato da Canet; purtroppo alla quinta curva del terzo giro la caduta a terra ha concluso in anticipo la corsa al suo primo podio in Moto2.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 3°

“Sono incredibilmente contento perché non me l’aspettavo! Siamo partiti dalla dodicesima posizione e in Moto2 è molto difficile fare podio quando si parte così indietro, ma al primo giro sono riuscito a guadagnare parecchie posizioni perché il feeling era davvero buono tanto da raggiungere la prima posizione. Ho cercato di mantenere un ritmo alto, ma non potevo farlo perché Ogura e Fernandez erano più veloci. Ad ogni modo, sono davvero soddisfatto di questo weekend, ringrazio di cuore la squadra e chi mi sostiene!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: DNF

“Dobbiamo guardare a tutto il positivo di questo weekend, non ci vogliamo soffermare sulla gara, ma sulla partenza che abbiamo fatto, sulla prima fila di ieri e su come abbiamo lottato durante il weekend. Siamo tornati, abbiamo fatto vedere che siamo forti e quindi niente, dobbiamo continuare a lavorare ed imparare dai nostri errori!”.

RACE: LÓPEZ AND BETA TOOLS SPEEDUP ON THE PODIUM OF THE GRAND PRIX OF JAPAN

Beta Tools SpeedUp once again on the podium and still López. Aldeguer crashed in the fifth corner just a few laps from the start of the race when he was second.

From the twelfth position on the grid to the third step of the Motegi podium, very nearly to the second victory; this is how the number 21 greets Japan after an excellent race which everyone enjoyed. Also this time, López proved to be the best Moto2 2022 rookie after a perfect weekend in which he demonstrated a lot: from the excellent start, to the six laps in the lead and to the determination in keeping his nerve until the finish line with Dixon behind him taking the third podium of the season.

Aldeguer’s fight for the podium ended too soon, leaving a bitter taste in the team and his mouth but showing they had all the credentials to finish a great race. The number 54 after a good start managed to keep the second position running at the pace dictated by Canet; unfortunately at the fifth corner of the third lap the crash ended the race early on his first podium in Moto2.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 3^rd

“I’m incredibly happy because I didn’t expect it! We started from twelfth position and in Moto2 it is very difficult to take a podium when you start so far back, but on the first lap I managed to gain a lot of positions because the feeling was really good, enough to reach the first position. I tried to keep a high pace, but I couldn’t do it because Ogura and Fernandez were faster. In any case, I am really satisfied with this weekend, I sincerely thank the team and those who support me!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: DNF

“We have to look at everything positive this weekend, we don’t want to dwell on the race, but on the start, we made, on the yesterday’s front row and on how we fought over the weekend. We are back, we have shown that we are strong and so we must continue to work and learn from our mistakes!”.
