PROVE LIBERE: ALDEGUER DAVANTI A TUTTI NEL VENERDÌ TEXANO, FENATI VENTITREESIMO

Il Gran Premio delle Americhe è iniziato con un incredibile Aldeguer in vetta alla classifica delle prove libere, mentre Romano Fenati ha concluso il venerdì con il ventitreesimo tempo.

Orari insoliti per la classe intermedia che ha dato il via al quarto appuntamento del motomondiale scendendo in pista alle nove del mattino. I piloti MB Conveyors SpeedUp finiscono la prima sessione di libere in p20 (Fenati 2’12.579) e p21 (Aldeguer 2’13.175) con un totale di 13 e 12 giri. Condizioni della pista non ottimali e una serie di bandiere gialle che hanno cancellato i giri più veloci dei due piloti in sella alle loro Boscoscuro vincolando il risultato finale delle FP1.

Nella seconda sessione della prima giornata il diciasettenne spagnolo ha messo il turbo. A Fermín è bastata una semplice modifica al setting della moto tra i due turni per trovare il feeling adatto e segnare il primo tempo del venerdì texano in 2’09.155 lasciando ancora una volta tutti a bocca aperta.

Anche Romano ha dimostrato dei miglioramenti tra le due sessioni abbassando il suo tempo giro di oltre un secondo (2’11.573), ma c’è ancora molto lavoro da svolgere per ridurre il gap dalla vetta. Il numero cinque sfrutterà le ultime di libere di domani mattina per avanzare nella classifica.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 1°

“Contento di questo primo giorno al COTA, mi sento molto bene con la moto. Dopo le FP1 abbiamo fatto una modifica al setting trovando quello che ci mancava per aumentare la confidenza e segnare poi il risultato ottenuto a fine giornata. L’obiettivo per domani è quello di continuare così, apprendendo, migliorando e certo, se potessimo mantenere la posizione sarebbe perfetto!”.

ROMANO FENATI #5: 23°

“Non un venerdì che ci aspettavamo. Siamo distanti dalla vetta ma stiamo lavorando per cercare di ridurre il gap. Ci aspettiamo dei miglioramenti nelle FP3 di domani così da poter affrontare le qualifiche più fiduciosi. Continuiamo a lottare!”.

FREE PRACTICE: ALDEGUER TO LEAD TEXAN FRIDAY, FENATI TWENTY-THIRD

The Grand Prix of the Americas has started with an incredible Aldeguer at the top of the free practice standings, while Romano Fenati closed Friday on 23rd position.

Unusual time schedule for the intermediate class that kicked off the fourth round of the world championship by going out on track at nine in the morning. MB Conveyors SpeedUp riders finished the first free practice session in p20 (Fenati 2’12.579) and p21 (Aldeguer 2’13.175) with a total of 13 and 12 laps. Track conditions not optimal and a series of yellow flags that cancelled the fastest laps of the two riders on their Boscoscuro bikes, binding the final result of FP1.

In the second session of the first day, the 17-year-old Spaniard put the turbo. An easy change to the bike setting between the two sessions was enough for Fermín to find the right feeling and set the first time of the Texan Friday in 2’09.155, leaving everyone speechless once again.

Romano also showed improvements between the two sessions by lowering his lap time by more than a second (2’11,573), but there is still a lot of work to be done to reduce the gap from the top. Number five will use the latest free practice tomorrow morning to advance in the standings.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 1^st

“Happy with this first day at COTA, I feel very good with the bike. After FP1 we made a change to the bike setting, finding what we lacked to increase confidence and then scoring the result obtained at the end of the day. The goal for tomorrow is to continue like this, learning, improving and of course, if we could keep the position it would be perfect!”.

“Not a Friday that we expected. We are far from the top but we are working to try to reduce the gap. We expect improvements in tomorrow’s FP3 so that we can face the qualifying with more confidence. Keep fighting!”.
