SOLIDA PRESTAZIONE PER LIGHTECH SPEEDUP IN UN INTENSO CATALAN GP

Si è da poco conclusa la gara Moto2 del Gran Premi de Catalunya, gran premio di casa per i due piloti del LighTech SpeedUp team.

Nonostante le alte temperature, Alonso López e Fermín Aldeguer hanno portato a termine una solida gara rispettivamente in ottava e quindicesima posizione, raggiungendo entrambi la zona punti.

Alonso è partito alla grande recuperando posizioni e stabilizzandosi in top ten già dal primo giro.

Ottimo il ritmo, decisivo in tutti i 22 giri del Gran Premi de Catalunya, e la determinazione del pilota madrileno che non ha mai smesso di lottare fino a fine gara tagliando il traguardo in ottava posizione.

Buona prestazione di Fermín che ha chiuso in zona punti un weekend complicato. È stata decisiva la partenza del numero 54 in cui ha guadagnato tre posizioni rispetto alla sua postazione in griglia.  Un feeling con la moto da migliorare ma con tanta grinta Fermin è riuscito a chiudere la gara con un buon quindicesimo posto.

ALONSO LÓPEZ #21: 8°

“Sono felicissimo di com’è andato questo fine settimana! Mi sono sentito bene già nel warm up di questa mattina in cui abbiamo girato bene sebbene la gomma usata. In gara ho fatto una buona la partenza mantenendo la posizione raggiunta. Poi non è stato facile guadagnare posizioni soprattutto dopo un errore che mi ha impedito di stare più avanti. Alla fine stiamo apprendendo molto perché stiamo girando con piloti veloci e quindi niente, andiamo a casa con un super risultato e con la voglia di tornare presto in pista!”.  

FERMÍN ALDEGUER #54: 15°

“Gara difficile devo dire. In un fine settimana complicato è stato sicuramente il miglior risultato che potevamo raggiungere, ma dobbiamo continuare a lottare e a crescere. Ringrazio il team per il duro lavoro svolto e per aver sofferto con me in questo duro weekend. In Germania cercheremo di migliorare i nostri punti deboli e di tornare a divertirci!”.

INTENSE CATALAN GP ENDS WITH SOLID PERFORMANCE BY LIGHTECH SPEEDUP

The Moto2 race of the Gran Premi de Catalunya, the home grand prix for the LighTech SpeedUp riders, has just ended.

Despite the high temperatures, Alonso López and Fermín Aldeguer completed a solid race in eighth and fifteenth place respectively, both in the point area.

Alonso made a great start recovering positions and stabilizing himself in the top ten from the first lap.

Good rhythm, decisive in all 22 laps of the Gran Premi de Catalunya, and the determination of the rider from Madrid who never stopped fighting until the end of the race, crossing the line in eighth position.

Good performance by Fermín who closed a complicated weekend in the points. The start of the number 54 was decisive in which he gained three positions compared to his position on the grid. A feeling with the bike to improve but with a lot of determination Fermin managed to close the race with a good fifteenth place.

ALONSO LÓPEZ # 21: 8^th

“I am delighted with how this weekend went! I felt good already in this morning’s warm up when we rode well even though the tire was used. In the race I made a good start while maintaining the position reached. Then it was not easy to gain positions especially after a mistake that prevented me from staying ahead. In the end we are learning a lot because we are driving with fast riders. We go home with a super result and with the desire to get back on track soon!”.

FERMÍN ALDEGUER # 54: 15^th

“Difficult race I must say. In a complicated weekend it was certainly the best result we could have achieved, but we have to keep fighting and growing. I thank the team for their hard work and for having suffered with me during this hard weekend. In Germany we will try to improve our weaknesses and get back to having fun!”.
